The error message I get when starting my 9th emulator (Note, I started counting emulators at 0): There is clearly a limit beyond that of memory that is enforcing this.
I can run 8 emulators with 1gb, 2gb, or 3gb memory allocated per device simultaneously. No matter what I do, I cannot run more than 8 emulators. (2048mb per emulator at this moment in time).
